SPRINT Trial showed that more intensive treatment of hypertension is better for patients. But we do not know was it lower blood pressure or more intensive treatment in terms of drugs and dosages responsible for better outcomes. Should one get more drugs even if one's blood pressure is low enough? Are drugs beneficial in itself or only blood pressure matters? We show they possibly are.
